TOGETHER WITH MYSELF, TOGETHER WITH YOU
You probably know that moment in a dance space when you hear: “take a partner” – what happens in you then?
Do you tighten with resistance? Or are you relieved? Do you start moving differently, adjusting to them, wanting to meet their expectations…? What happens in you if they smile at you?
And what if they don’t…?
And what if they don’t…?
However that instruction lands, it can open the door to endless discoveries about yourself and your ways of connecting.
And what happens when there’s no such instruction? Do you avoid connection, because you feel truly free only when you can dance on your own? Or the opposite – do you look for the chance to connect, because alone everything is more boring…?
In this 7-session group we’ll explore exactly this, with plenty of humour, curiosity and lightness: what our connections on the dance floor show us – and what they reflect back from our lives.
What happens when someone turns toward you? How do you meet? How do you move on? Is the vulnerability of choosing and of being visible the stronger feeling, or their freedom? What’s different about moving with someone rather than alone? And what is it like to move together with the whole group?
Don’t worry – the fact that this is the theme doesn’t mean we’ll be dancing in pairs all the time, or that in seven sessions we’ll decode and repair all your relational patterns
