LIGHT BUBBLE
“Life is a luminous halo, a semitransparent envelope surrounding us from the beginning of consciousness to the end.”
this sentence popped up in my mind after yesterday’s dance.

It amazes me how memory works! The way things sink down and suddenly pop up – like now, from the perspective of approximately 20 years – I read a lot of Virginia Woolf at that time.
And I am also in awe of how the movements become visible, how an image is created from this semi-transparent halo during the dance: easily, without effort.
This is our collective artwork from yesterday, I am sharing it at the request and with the permission of the dancers.
I guess because I used the word ‘halo’ a lot yesterday. I didn’t know where the sentence came from, it just resonated in me. I suspected that it was from Virginia Woolf – and it was indeed.
